Founded in 1887 and opening its doors in the Spring of 1888, the Bank of Crockett holds the distinction of being the oldest bank in Crockett County. For over a century, we have been a steadfast presence in the community, with our main office located on Main Street in Bells, Tennessee.
Throughout our history, the Bank of Crockett has grown alongside the community. By the mid-1900s, we expanded into three locations in the county. These locations proudly served our customers and surrounding areas, fostering strong relationships and providing exceptional service.
In 1996, we seized an opportunity to further grow and purchased two independently owned branches in Alamo, Tennessee, continuing our tradition of expanding our service to new communities.
In 2023 Gates Banking and Trust Co. joined the Bank of Crockett. We remain committed to offering personalized financial solutions in five locations while honoring our long-standing history of trust, service, and community involvement.
